Macbeth Cottage

Macbeth Cottage is a beautiful quaint cottage located in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon. The cottage will sleep 2-7, it is located at Binton, 3 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon town, with easy access into Welford-on-Avon, it is a delightful detached character cottage mainly constructed of local blue lias stone. Previously this beautiful cottage was part of the historic Ragley Estate. There are attractive gardens that surround the property, with a selection of Silver Birch, Apple, Norway Spruce and Damson trees. You can view from the cottage a selection of outbuildings which enhance the character of this lovely cottage.

This pretty cottage is located on a main road and is approached via a lovely front garden with gate leading to a traditional porch entrance, the lounge area has the most wonderful inglenook fireplace with sandstone heath, plus dining area and additional sofa bed. The breakfast kitchen has an extensive range of newly fitted units with integrated fridge, hob, oven and dishwasher. In the kitchen there is also a lovely feature blue lias stone fire surround. Plus a separate laundry room with washer/dryer. The doors in the cottage are traditional ledged and braced doors with Norfolk latch, a beautiful feature to this quaint cottage. The family bathroom is fully tiled and consists of toilet, basin, and enamel bath with Triton electronic show over.

In this charming cottage you enter the upstairs via a traditional cottage staircase leading you to the bedrooms. Bedroom one the master bedroom has a king size bed, bedroom two has three single luxury beds. Both bedrooms have traditional beamed ceilings and features of a quaint cottage, plus built in country style wardrobes. The views from the bedrooms are stunning.

The country setting is close to several pubs/restaurants, the river Avon offering tranquil boat trips, plus there are several country walks from the cottage. The location on the road leading from Stratford to Bidford-upon-Avon, giving easy access to the town centre plus Warwick Evesham, Alcester and many other local attractions, including Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse.

Macbeth Cottage comes complete with TV, DVD/CD, free broadband connection, electric hob & oven, crockery, cutlery & utensils. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, iron & ironing board. Cots & high chairs are free of charge.
